You'll have to seperate the tranny from the engine, take off the drive
axels, detach the clutch cable, reverse light switch, and i'm sure a few
other things.  It's pretty self evident when you take a look.  My first
order of business would be to get a bible, er, i mean Bently first.  Its
worth its weight in gold to a Scirocco owner.
