Not really. The CIS-E system isn't controlled by a single chip like
the later CIS-Motronic system. There was one chip mod made by Superchips,
which supposedly merely raised the redline. About the best you can
do is a power module type thing, which just adjusts the amount of
fuel, mostly at WOT. Now, if you want to be be able to chip your
car, you'll have to convert to Motronic...a conversion I'm most of
the way through. I'll be adding a chip of course, but using only
the best: Garrett (www.giacusa.com). Incidently, the conversion
from CIS-E to Motronic is really pretty simple. It amounts to
about 6 wires, only 2 of which have to be fished back into the car
to the fuse box. It's not even necessary to move the fuel distributor
to the other side of the car, as I sourced some CIS-E fuel injector
to Motronic fuel injector convertors. Naturally, I'm still swapping
out the fuel distributor for a Motronic unit, but I'm using the
CIS-E lines with Motronic injectors.

I'll have to detail this swap at some point...
