That will work unless they are planning to steal your car and bring their own steering wheel like in the new movie 'Gone in Sixty Seconds'.

and the ultimate theft deterrent maybe? What I'm talking about is the detachable steering wheel. I saw an ad for it in VW Power or Tuner, can't remember which, but I'll look. Hell, if they don't have the steering wheel to fit in the hub (presuming you take your steering wheel with you when you have this thing installed), then they can't move your car, right? Get yourself a detachable face stereo or something, don't load your car with valuables you can't live without (checkbook, bank card, secret money stash) when you get out your car for the day, night, whatever, then thieves won't have a reason/method to bust your car up/steal your ride.
Just a tho't.......
