I disagree. Gas prices were actually depressed in the past 5 years or so,
they're just catching up with the CPI. Besides, I rather like the high gas
prices. They don't affect people who make a reasonable effort to be
environmentaly conscious very much, and kick in the ass people who choose
to live an hour from where they work and are commuting solo in a Suburban.
