O2 Sensor again...

Just want to make sure that I buy the right one...
this is for my 86 16v.  I heard someone say that a
3-wire universal is like $70 and then someone said
that a 3-wire sensor from a '90 mustang gt is 
only $40 but requires splicing? 
Will this "ford" sensor fit and work properly?
