Re: testing battery drain



Hey Greg,

It's Sal, the dude who bought yer 16V motor and stuff and brought it back to
Toronto.

To check and see if there is indeed a drain, disconnect the neg post and
connect a light tester from the neg battery post to the neg. cable clamp. If
the test light comes on, there's a short. Disconnect the alternator wiring
harness. If light goes out, the alt. is bad. If light stays on, pull each
fuse until the light goes out (this will tell you which component is
shorted).
