I took out the thermostat yesterday. The engine runs cooloer but still,
today, the temp almost reached the red line (not VDO) on the gauge. The oil
temp started to go over 100 deg c.
There is no white smoke from the tail pipe, but it seems to run low on
coolant. I just poured H2O into the reserve tank till it reached the top. Is
there some thing else I'm supposed to do?
What are the symptoms of a bad head gasket or head?
