Just a matter of VW protecting it's intellectual property... we got a letter
(the CCA did, that is) about the VW Keychains we were selling on the web
site, so we took them down from the web site, gave the stock away for free,
and were ok.  This was what their lawyers 'asked' us to do.  In the case of
the EKTA cds, though, this guy stands to get busted pretty good if they want
to make a stink about it, software piracy is a crime that the government and
software companies are caring deeply about.  As a developer, I don't blame
them, as a VW enthusiast, well, I guess that's a dilemma now isn't it ;-)

Wasn't too long ago they sic'd their lawyers on everyone who had a
VW-related website that used their logo or name or anything.  It didn't
matter if the site cast VW in a positive light or not, the site owners were
hounded and told to stop.  Seems as though this would be a *huge* issue.
