You can also remove the #1 sparkplug and insert a long screwdriver into the
cylander.Using a 19mm wrench, advance the rotation of the motor (careful not
to pinch the shaft of the screwdriver). The punch mark on the upper cam
shaft should be right in line with the top of the valve cover. The screw
driver will rise to the occassion. A fast way to find TDC. The mark to set
is 3 deg past the TDC. Good luck!

Ah, that lug IS the TDC mark? Cool. That would explain why my car isn't
running nearly as well as it should (laugh). I was going to do the
extension-in-the-cylinder thing, but thought I'd ask people first...
