Timing mark

What should the TDC mark look like on my flywheel? Is it an "0"? If so,
I can't find one. I remember that it's not the big lug thing, right? What
the heck IS that for? It's the most visible thing on the flywheel and it's
not the 6 degree mark or the 0 degree mark, right? Lame : )
