How about just swapping the rear glass? You can find '82 '83 Sciroccos with
the sticker in your local boneyard (at least here in the SF bay area they're
pretty common)...you're taking a gamble on the defroster lines working,
though...

I don't think it's glued like the windshield is... I've pulled all the glass
out of my car 'cept for the front and rear...so I could be wrong.
