RE: Speedo cable chattering in cold



I believe this is the "proper application of force" in Jarrett's theorem.
Could this possibly be caused by the lubrication in the cable getting thick
due to cold and binding the wire a little?  Just a guess.

Same thing happens to my MK1 in cold weather....Just smacking the
top of the dash stops it & once I drive for a while it goes away...go
figure?
