The problem with that is that the dyno has a scale built into it and at
the end of the day when the shop downloads their data to the state, the
weight is sent along with it, along with the; year, make, model, VIN,
etc..

If they are testing a 2000lb Rabbit and the equivalent of 3000lbs is
transmitted, they could get a visit from the state and be fined.

If it was a Geo or something, you would be ok...

They aren't going to make a fuzz over a couple of hundred pounds.

Their database probably goes by the GVW, so your max load is probably the
variance.
