Hall Sender Problems

Hey all.

You know those three wires that go into the hall
sender plug at the distributor? Where do they come
from? I'm thinking that the wires might be corroded,
because the car died on me today, and when I fuck
around with the wires, it'll start. I would like to
start fresh and rewire them. I know it's not the plug,
I changed that  2 month's ago. Been working fine until
today.
