RD code engine swap ?'s

Hey guys,
I have been needing to upgrade my '82 engine (210,000miles)for some time 
now.  From reading the list it seems that the JH is a pretty easy swap. What 
about a RD code engine? What kinda components (knock sensor? other ignition 
related stuff?) do I need to take from the donor car? Also I am a bit 
confused about what the diference between CIS-E injection is and normal CIS. 
Am I correct in that the years to look for are between '86 and '89? Is this 
a good upgrade? The displacement is 1781 for the diferent engine codes 
(JH,HT,RD,JN) why so many varying horse power figures?
