Re: Mk1 stalling....HELP!!! (Part 2)




How much oil do you have in the crankcase? If its over filled it will make 
the plate oily. Is your dipstick funnel in good condition? Cracks in the 
intake boots will affect running but onlu if they go all the way through the 
boot. be advised to replace them if they have brack anyway (although cracks 
will nto cause this problem). What kind of condition is the CAT? does it 
rattle? Did it used to rattle? Maybe it has wedged itself sideways and will 
not allow exhaust to flow. Just a couple of ideas..
