christmas miracle!! No broken valves!!!

Hi everyone!! My christmas has come in a strange form this year!! I was one 
of the complainers about my car I had posted the title Stupid Car. Well I 
had all kinds of problem with the performance of my vehicle(87 16v rocco). I 
would get her dialed almost in, and then all of the sudden it would go dead 
again with major hesitation!
   Well here is the verdict!!!! I had a ground missing, and I thought that 
was it, but then the car had a mind of its own, and started running like doo 
doo again. I finally brought it to this place called Foreign & Sports Car 
Service. Jim Carmody is the man of the hour. He and his co-worker Ron set 
the cam timing (it was three teeth off on the belt), and then started it up. 
It would be fine for a couple of revs, and then run like s--t. Scratching 
their collective heads they checked the cam timing, and it was off by 15 
teeth!!! 15!!! He called me up at work and told me this. He then checked the 
compression of course thinking the worst, and it was zeros all way across 
the board! S--T!!! He said that he then just for s--ts and giggles put the 
car back at tdc, and this time didn't just check the cam position, but also 
checked the crank position a little closer. The crank was off. So they 
loosened the crank bolt, and ta dah the crank pulley had no key on it. The 
piece of metal that locates the pulley on the crank. So they set the belt 
back up, and checked the compression... 150, 150, 155, and 155!!! While I 
was on the phone I told him I had another lower pulley... After work I went 
over to the shop, replaced the pulley, and she fired right up!!! Ran solid, 
and when I got her out of the shop it ran more than strong!! So I don't know 
if it was saint nick, god, or someone else looking down on me but it was 
officially 15 teeth off, and didn't bend a valve!!! beat that story listers!
