RE: engine swap

Chris,
My mistake his is a 92, I just asked him.
He bought it new off the dealer floor and is all original except for the
wheels. He even has the quad round headlights.
Maybe they skipped a few years but his is definitely a 92 and an 8V, and it
is badged as a GTI.
He does not have the deep bolstered and labeled Recaro's like in the 16V's
though and originally came with teardrops.

This would not be stock. No such thing was available in the US as a
standard
	purchase.

GTI's.

Dont mean to harsh your gig here but the 16V comes with rear disk
brakes,
wider front fender flares, GTI on the title (not Golf like the 8V),
and some
other stuff I know I am forgetting.
