I went to the Junkyard and pulled a set out of a
newer Jetta. They are sweet looking with the VW logo stitched in
them. I died them black and they reside in my Scirocco now - $5 is all
they cost (plus the $2 dye from WallyMart). They sit under my $50 pair of
Recaros that don't have any rips...yet.
On a silmilar note, the leather ebrake cover from the
newer VW's fits our cars pretty good. I was able to make it look pretty
close to factory. I will try and snap off some pictures of it with my moms
digi Sony while I am in FL next week if anyone is interested in seeing
it.
Junkyards are fun...
