hey everyone,

anyone know how long it would be from cape cod, MA?
How long of a ride is it from u guys from maine.  (If
I could go, maybe we could meet in NY somewhere!)  My
name is Mickey (mick for short) and I have been kinda
quiet on the list for the month that i have been on
it.  But now my very nice 90 Ford Taurus had just
about everything in it stolen ($1200 stereo, $1200
misc stuff....the jerks even took my K&N
Airfilter!!!!!) on campus(UMASS Amherst).  Now that i
feel it is tainted and i have a friend that needs a
car, i'm selling it.  With the insurance $$$$$ + $3000
for the Taurus and the car i got for free! DAMN! I'm
gonna have some fun.  


Here is the story.  Her family and i went on a 3 day
cruise and when we got back the neighbors car rolled
into it(88 16V) and totalled it according to
insurance.  Just the front right corner is hurt. (New
headlight assembly, a lil paint and body work for the
bumper.  Can't open passengers door w/out hurting the
paint!)  Got the car from my g/f for my b-day.  What
an awsome g/f.  

Funny thing is that is has the only aftermarket
sunroof(flip up) i have seen on a 'rocco.  Paint is in
 very good condition for 12 yrs old.  I'm a
professional car and aircraft detailer so i took if
from her as often as i could.  A beautiful woman needs
a beautiful car.  

The odometer stopped working 6 years ago at 180,000
miles.  It has been estimated at over 250,000!!!  So
far i have put a new alternator, heater core, and
radiator.  It has had the head rebuilt 3 times when
the timing belt snapped early and it is due now.  Also
picked up Goodyear GT II's for a real good price at
195/60-14 size.  As far as I know it has the original
exhaust, shocks, struts, rims (wow they r bad).

My good friend w/an 87 16V w/170,000 use to work at a
VW dealership so he is helping me big time.

Anyone have any comments i love to hear them and hope
to see you all come may/june.
