Mike I am sorry that my worst case senario has come true.  I bet the
timing belt has sheared the teeth off of itself.  If you are REALLY REALLY
lucky you might have done NO damage to the head.  Time to put a timing
belt on the thing (check that crank pully) and see if it runs and get a
compression check....

I am sorry man!!!! (God, why am I putting a 16v in my car?  I totally
don't want to deal with problems like this....hmmm...maybe time to rethink
that turboed G60 idea i had a long time back...)
