Please Please Help!!!!

Hi Guys, 

Im really stuck, I have a MK2 1991 Scirocco (my pride 
and joy!!) but it has the strangest problem, when driving 
up hills it stalls, the felling is similar to when you run 
out of fuel, it kind of shudders then stalls, I have a full 
tank of fuel, I have replaced the filter the pump and 
clean all the pipes, I am really stuck now as to what it 
could be, any help would be much appriciated.
