[quasi-roc?] cleaning out e-mail

I have this folder called "stuff to look at later," which is where I usually
move e-mails containing links to web pages I haven't the time or inclination
to look at on first read.  A year ago yesterday, the list received one from
a guy named Michael Barry, asking us to go to MP3.com and listen to/vote for
a song by a band he's in.  Into the folder it went, and I only just clicked
on the link a minute ago.

The link is to the "Alternative/Power Pop" charts.  I didn't see evidence
that Mr. Barry's band Pooka Stew was still there, but I noticed that
debuting at #39 this week is a song by the band Waterneck called
"Scirrocco."  How's that for synchronicity?  I'm downloading it now; here's
the link, if you, too have nothing better to do with your time/bandwidth:
