Re: Broken seats



I had a similar thing.

There are little cables in the back of the seat that pull in the release near the base of the seat.  

Unhook the leather from underneath and roll it up so you can see the cable.  What you do to repair the break is up to you.  I used some "Dubro wheel collars" for model airplanes...

If you take the seat out of the VW it's easier.
