SPARKPLUG WARNING!!

FYI, the plug wires that connect to the plugs cost roughly $100. Use care
when removing them. I use a screwdriver and slide it through the hole on
the plug wire and then pull **straight** up. Use the Bosch plugs that are
recommended and you'll be fine.

Yes the factory oil filters are good stuff. You should be able to look in
the yellow pages under **Automotive/parts new** and find a shop that
specializes in German car parts. They'll have better prices than the
dealer. Or you could get in touch with www.parts4vws.com and order 3 or 4
at a time. You might as well get the dipstick tube sleeve ($2) at this time
also.

AFIK, to drain your radiator, you can just disconnect the hose that goes to
the water pump on the passenger side of the car.

Congrats on the car! Lots of information on this list will help you out.
Just ask.
