Re: what sooped up sciroccos are like?

hey jorel. last year, my 2.0 16V mk1 jetta was dynoed at about 175hp
and a torque figure that was ±5hp from that mark.

i've since had the motor rebuilt to it's previous state, and i've
dropped the motor into a mk1 rocco. if i run really crap tires, then i'll
get some crazy torque-steer. if i use good tires (like my wonderful
yokohama A520s), then i generally just hook up and go.

of course, some throttle-modulation is required, but that's generally
the case for any car that has enuff power to break the front wheels loose.

i love the power from my motor, but i want more. lots more. i want a
done 1.8T. i think that 300hp in a lightened mk1 rocco will be just the
thing i need.... :)
