When I took the starter off the '86 GLi, an 8 mm fit the bolts, but
that's because a previous owner had apparently hammered an 8 mm bit into
it, because now an 8 mm allen fits it, but the 12 point does not.
How's that for a run on sentence...

As far a sizes go, I go by the packaging that my Lisle bits came in, 6,
8, 10, and 12 mm...
