  depends on the problem. it's either with the red gear on the end of
the rod that goes through your main numbers or the gold rod at the other
end which turn the numbers. to fix the former, find another gear
(someone had a place to buy 'em for cheap) and replace it. if that's not
the problem then you'll have to remove the rod (good time to update your
mileage), burr the end of it, and put it back in (should be a tight fit
