This sort of thing bugs me.  At the shop where I work, we make custom parts 
for model cars.  Car kits come and go, and so do the parts.  A typical 
message would read: "it would be a good idea for you to make 'foo' piece 
for 'bar' car..." I think to myself, "well, you and about 6 other people 
own one of those things..."

If there was money to be made selling Scirocco door seals, then people 
would sell Scirocco door seals.  We live in a market driven economy.  Since 
there are not too many Sciroccos (compared to air-cooled VW's for example) 
we can't expect to be able to find all the parts we want.

Face it.  We have unique cars.
