OK, now were down to calling this thread BS. Look, depending on exactly
how each tranny is treated/driven, it can have distinctive effects on
when/how the tranny will fail. If theres one thing that I can promise
each and every one of you is that at one point in time, (If you keep the
car long enough, not saying it will happen this week.) your tranny will
die. Its a safe statement like saying someday YOU too will pass on to
better hunting grounds.

I backrow all of my trannies ALL the time, including heel & Toe (on the
street too) and sometimes I wont even touch the brake until I have to.
(Saving the Ferodo's for the track! LOL!)

Syncro's wear out. Thats the design. Somethings got to give. As long as
you properly maintain and dont abuse the tranny, it will last you a
reasionable amount of time without any problems. It comes down to the
luck of the draw since most of us bought out cars second-third hand.
Thats why it pays to find a tranny and BUY it! Stick it in the closet for
that special day. (I know i have one in the wings!) :)

NEXT THREAD PLEASE..........
