Aha, you may be in luck.. I'd bet that Shawn would be willing to pay 
your little ripoff artist a friendly visit to extract either your
parts or some cash money.. he froths at opportunities like this!

As for Scott's problem.. since this transaction was conducted by wire,
and <probably> across state lines, this is a FEDERAL rap.  Not sure
how you proceed, but despite the relatively small amount of money
involved, this makes it a more serious crime.  Go for the jugular!
