Mk 1: What do you think?

Thanks for the help guys. I still pondering
over whether to buy the '81 S I just saw!!

Car sat for 8 years. 
New paint job w/ the 4 fenders
replaced. Not the best paint job in the world
(looks better than it is), but the best
part is that it's very original 
except for unknown shocks and exhaust.
Floor was coated with something, so it's hard to tell how
rusty it really is under there, but it felt pretty
solid. Good 1.7l and FN tranny but corroded/filthy, 
questionable gas tank (looked original). 
Cracked-to-hell dash, unripped but dirty 'S' 
seats, great clean headliner & carpet. The asking price is 
high ($2200US) but you just can't find cars this solid 
around here everyday. That's why I was planning to get a 
Mk1 from california until I came across this one.
The only thing in the way is that I'd have to blow
my tuition money to get it. But I'm looking
into student loans as we speak ;)
