Re: idle hesitation

Replace your vacuum lines and clean out your idle stabilizer valve (if you have a 16v, or a high compression RD code 8v engine - but I don't think any 8v rocs came with the RD 8v engine) The idle stabilizer valve sits on top of the intak manifold and is about the size and shape of an 8 oz. can on V8, or OJ. It has 2 rubber hoses coming off of it, one of them goes to the airbox. Take the valve out, shoot a lot of carb cleaner in it, let it air dry, slap it back in and hope that that was your problem.

The idle stabilizer valve can get gunked with oil that can come from the airbox via the positive crank ventilation (PCV) valve. The PCV valve goes from the valve cover to the airbox.
