<x-flowed>There seems to be some misunderstanding about '75-'81 mk1 scirocco engine
sizes. People, just 'cause it says 1.6 on the head between #2 and #3 sspark
plugs does not signify the engine size. These heads are used on
1.5,1.6.,1.7l engines and are useless for determining engine size. The way
to determine for sure your engine size is to look on the block at the bottom
on the firewall side of #4 cylinder area behind the passenger inboard
driveflange. It will say:H (1.7),1.6(self explanitory), or nothing (1.5?).
Please don't determine the year of your car by what you read on the head.
Hope this clears somee of the confusion.
