Hello everyone,
I guess it's about time for a proper introduction...
My name is George Curl and I've got a Scirocco
addiction.  Currently I've got my good old 79 rocco
that some of you may remember from when I was on the
list about 2-3 years ago.  Since then I've done some
work on the old roc.  13" factory bbs wheels, neuspeed
springs and frame braces.  Factory cabriolet rear sway
bar, 87 5-speed, 84 1.8 8v balanced,ported 
factory'big'valve mechanical head w/g-grind cam.  No
back seat with carpet and side panels redone.  A/C and
all assocated componets removed (never worked worth a
darn anyways).  
I've also had two more MK1's that were parts cars(now
are both gone"thanx mom"!!!!!!)
My ex-gf had an87 16v, beautiful car, bitchy gf.
I'm glad to be back on the list though.  hope my
experences can help someone out and thanx to everyone
who's helped me so far and in the future...
By the way, does anyone have a drivers side door
they'd be willing to part with?  I'd like to get a new
one before I send it to the body shop for a fresh
spray of the new futura yellow...color doesn't matter
but I'd like it to be relativly rust free.  just give
me a price and I'll see if I can cope on my poor
mechanics salary..
