Electric Window Problem on 86 !6V

<x-charset iso-8859-1>My drivers side window works perfectly, as does my passenger side window
from the passenger side switch.  But the driver's side switch for the
passenger window only makes it go up, not down.  I tried replacing out the
switch with what looked like a well used boneyard switch, but it didn't
solve the problem.  What should I try next, a new switch, or do I need to
check the wiring somehow?
