True !
at the moment I have to pay US$55
to have my Scirocco filled up with 98ROZ/RON fuel.
Thats 1$/liter or $3.78/gallon.

Government still want to increase tax here in Germany
and aim for a price of $10/gallon within the next 5 years.
so prices are increased every three months now,
from 01.01.2000 on it will be $4.20/gallon.

IMHO this reduces the fun of driving here.
