Re: oil filter



<x-charset iso-8859-1>Craftsman used to sell a wrench that was machined to accept a 3/8" drive
extension in place of a handle that worked beautifully in the tight quarters
up there. I lost track of mine when I joined the Army and Sears doesn't seem
to offer them anymore, too bad.

In lieu of that, a black rubber tie-down strap looped at least twice around
the filter gives enough extra leverage and grip to spin the filter off by
hand unless it is super tight. This is my normal approach to loosening
filters.
