people buying a 16v roc that supposedly had a 2.0, only to find out later it was 
the stock 1.8.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>The engine code is stamped into the block, just below the 
cylinder head in the area of #3 or #4 cylinder.&nbsp; You might need to scrape 
some grease away, and make sure to take a flashlight with you to inspect the 
car.&nbsp; PL is a 1.8L, 9A is a 2.0L I believe...&nbsp; any other 2.0 codes out
