tv tonight!

Okay, they just ran little advertisment about "a new form of dangerous
racing that is growing in popularity and a NJ man's search for
sponsorship". My house is going crazy... Okay, they're going to
commercial. It's gotten quieter but the anticipation is building...
(Scott runs down the stairs from his computer and back to the tv)

(three minutes later...)
What do we have here... Aw, DAMNIT!!! Its a stupid story about that
singer chick, Brandy, going to the hospital. Who cares, hon? I'm
climbing the friggin' walls and don't care about this shit...
(commercial break)

(-another sprint down to the tv)
We're back! And.... NOOOOOO, I don't want to hear about the Amityville
Horror. Of course it was a hoax; we all know that. Where's the *real*
news?... ARRRGHHH!!!

(-another ten minutes)
Alright apparently they're leaving the best stuff for last because they
just did a bit on the best tv theme songs of the century. Jeez, is it
going to be the theme to the Andy Griffiths Show, the Brady Bunch, The
Jeffersons, Happy Days, or?... But wait, they just did another "coming
up next" clip with my face on it and some footage from the World Rally
Championship.

(five more minutes elapse)
"Scott get off the computer its ON!"
And there it is. I'll be damned; I'm on television and sounding pretty
intelligent, too. They got one *really* good shot of me coming around a
corner sideways on gravel and then another coming down a hill and
splashing through a puddle of water mid turn. Woo hoo!!! 8^) I've got
about minute and half's worth of actual face time on the camera which
was enough for me to explain how the sport works. Most importantly, I
was able to outline exactly which markets we're looking at and how we
can benefit them.

It looked good, folks!
