The no brainer side of me says:

Yes! Of course!

(If they are both stock VW) They are both Hub Centric, are both within
tolerance in terms of offset, and might have been installed on the other
model by VW or the dealer as it rolled off the showroom floor.

If they are after market then it's more of a "What type and size of
tires go along with your rims to create a potential rubbing problem".
