RE: More Woes...

For those who havn't followed this problem, it started when Norm's car 
stalled on the street, the tow truck guy tried sprayed starting fluid 
into the intake and the car fired up. This led me and others to conclude 
that the problem was with fuel delivery, seeing how all the other 
systems appeared to work fine when the starting fluid was injected.  
Norm then replaced the fuel filter and bought a new(but wrong kind, 
courtesy of pep boys)fuel pump. After taking out the old pump and 
finding the mistake he had the car towed to a mechanic who put in the 
right kind. The old pump was not in the car when the mechanic got it. 

Norm can you tell if the pump is running? Get your GF to crank the car, 
and you go listen by the rear passenger's side wheel. There should be a 
whirring sound. If it's not, then I think the fuel pump relay is dead. 

I can come by tonight with a fuel pump relay bypass to see if it is the 
relay that is at fault.
