Not really a dumb question - a dumb question would be - What size are my
195-50-15 tires? - Oh, sorry, needless sarcasm.

Depending on where you live and how you drive, use the msx. pressures
designated by VW - probably 32psi F, 29psi R.  If you live in an area with
extreme potholes, try upping the pressures 5-6 psi - the car will ride like
crap but it will help to keep from bending your rims.  If you drive
agressively, up the fronts to about 36psi F, keep the rears at 29psi R -
you'll get better turn-in without the rears skating over the pavement.
