02 sensor fitting

does anyone know of an easy source for a nut to weld onto a downpipe that
i cant screw in an 02 sensor to?.......i have a replacement cat to weld
onto a 16v, but it doesnt have a 02 sensor hole...

i thought someone mentioned to me onece that either an axle nut or lug nut
off an air cooled beetle was the right size....but if anyone knows of the
exact size of the nut or an easy way to pick one up, it'd be much
appreciated
