I used to be of the little or no front bar camp. I run pretty high spring 
rates (375-350) and Ive auto-xed with the stock bar (16.5mm) and with a 22mm 
bar and the car was faster and was easier to control with the big bar. I 
atribute some of the benifits to keeping the rear inside wheel on the ground 
(if cars cornered faster on 3 you wouldnt see so many independent rear 
suspension cars doing as well as ours).<---imho
