The only reason I can think of to run high octane these days is if you are at 
a real high altitude because it does have added oxygen as I understand.  This 
is why airplanes use like 100+ octane I think.
I am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong so go ahead, you can't hurt my 
feelings.
