[Mk1] VDO vs MotoMeter

Hello all. I'm the owner of two '81 Sciroccos.

One is my daily driver. It's got MotoMeter gauges.
The other, which I'm trying to sell, has VDO's in it.

I bought a 100mph VDO for my driver which I'll install once the 
weather's good.

Question:
Should I bother swapping the VDO tach from my other car in? Is anything 
different with it?
