ok im back sorta, cant say if ill have any time to answer any q's or 
bs but im happy today so i thought i'd share...

I stillhave my 87 Rieger and my 81 Scirocco-S.

The Rieger received an 8v tranny after i blew the 16v one that was in 
there, so its not quite as zippy off the line but cruising at 3200 
rpm is nice....it's running great now, but still haven't had time to
get all the glass repaired. a few weeks ago i left the door unlocked
and some hooligan thought it would be cool to try and hotwire it in
my driveway. (I was out watching Star Wars). and to top it off I had
my 81 parked right behind it so the Rieger wasn't going anywhere 
fast. I got pissed but then laughed my ass off...the putzes had 
succeeded in hotwiring my turn signals, and disabling my windshield
wipers...now I gotta solder in new harnesses...dorks!

The 81 is my daily driver now...after drivinf it had and cracking the 
flex pipe i had a strait pipe welde, then the valve guide seals 
started leaking really bad, so I hooked up with a p/p 1.6L audi head
form some guy in WA and slapped in a g-grind cam and port matched the
gaskets and manifolds, and had my trusted mechanic install and dial 
it all in. Car runs like a champ. them my brakes started failing so 
the Potterman hooked me up with a sweet m/c and i just put that bad 
boy in tonight, while i was at it I painted my 16v scirocco 
calipers/bracket yellow and installed the 10.1 front brakes...mainly
because of all that open space my new 17" MSW rims show off between 
the spokes! I got my konis dialed in as 1/2 turn back from full stiff 
and the rear fenders are rolled from back when i ran 15"s..looks like 
I may beed to roll the front ones as i think i heard them run once on 
some rough RR tracks..better to be safe than sorry. with street 15's
weighing umm 2190 total i clocked a 17.2 at the 1/4 mile track right
after i had the headwork all done. Oh also added a Corrado G60 
muffler and am about 1/2 with removing the side bumper guard molding.
Also have a full Corrado Sport interior coming my way soon hopefully,
oh hehe also installed the umm 120mph(i forget)? speedo..so no more
guessing exactly how fast im going =] Wife said i was pacing her 
Passat at 120 one night back when i had my 85mph speedo.

I am looking for an upper stressbar for my 81-S...

oh yah i stillhave my other project Rieger Scirocco in the garage for 
sale...I'm not selling anything else parts wise over the internet, 
so ignore my for-sale page omy homepage please, sheesh i don't even 
have time to update that..
