I think that since we, as a list, have already approved Mike (VWP) and
Mark (AAP) for automotive consumption, its safe to say this guy "ED"
don't know WTF he's talking about.

Then since I know for fact that VWP donated a large sum of money to help
us acquire the web site address, he has somehow paid for at least a small
spot to advertize. (its not up to me to decide the size if any, that VWP
has earned/bought/deserves ect.) I wouldn't have a problem with that.
(Has Mark donated as well???)

I agree in that we should NOT allow commercial postings on the classified
section. In the beginning, the Scirocco mailing list was organized by
Kevin Wenzel to not allow commercial advertizing. Word of mouth was how
VWP and Mark got alot of deserved business from the list and rightly so.
They never posted commercial messages and in fact contributed much to the
list without becomming the evil spamers that we all hate.

Thats not to say that if, for example, Tim at ND has a tranny that he
wants to sell. He could post to the classified section without problem.
However if he has 20 posts of things to sell I would tent to think that
he was abusing the site.

Anyone else?
