Wheels one last time...

Thanks for the knowledge on the torque specs.  The other day I was talking to this guy who had big wheels/low profile tires and asked him if he had any problem bending his wheels on our far-from-perfect roads.  He said no, just have to make sure you keep an eye on tire pressure.  Should have asked him what he meant...low, normal, high pressure better than the other?  I know psi can affect handling but protecting your wheels?
